Practical Stay at Kandyan Feel Free HomestayIn my recent visit to Kandyan Feel Free Homestay, I opted for a budget triple room, which underscored the notion that one gets what they pay for. It was an adequate choice for a brief overnight stay while traveling through Kandy with friends. The location stands out, only a ten-minute walk from key attractions such as the Tooth Relic Temple and various local eateries, making it ideal for those wanting to explore Kandy town with ease. The room featured essential amenities including a clean bathroom, a fan, and two charging ports. Although no meals were served, we were comfortable sleeping arrangements; the provided linens and mattress were satisfactory. Staff member Ian was notably welcoming, providing travel tips and assisting with transportation recommendations, which added a personal touch to our experience. Interaction with the owner left much to be desired, as it lacked courtesy. While the quality aligns with a budget option, those seeking luxury might need to reconsider. It offers good value for a short stay, especially for travelers prioritizing location and affordability.
